Locally owned and one-of-a-kind, The Bicycle Cellar is covering the full spectrum of bicycle needs.
Tucked into the northwest corner of the Tempe Transportation Center on East Fifth St., The Bicycle Cellar is the only bike shop in Arizona that extends 20-hour access to impressive amenities for the bike commuter. This unique shop offers affordable monthly memberships that include access to private showers, lockers, towel service, repair area, and bicycle storage.
While they have a strong focus on catering to commuter needs, The Bicycle Cellar is a fully operational shop with a selection of bikes for sale: mountain, road, city and more from top brands like Surly, Kona and Virtue. Don’t see what you want? No problem! The friendly and knowledgeable staff can custom order any bike you want, build one from the frame up, or refurbish that oldie you don’t want to let go of.
In addition, The Bicycle Cellar meets a high demand for rentals by locals, business travelers, and snowbirds looking to explore Tempe on two wheels. The shop has a wide variety of bikes to rent out, ranging from State fixies to Yuba Mundo cargos and everything in between. Renters can enjoy a two-hour adventure, or hang on to their bike for an entire week.
A range of bike accessories are available for purchase…
… and experienced mechanics that can tune up your bike or fully restore it.
The Bicycle Cellar has established a reputation for excellent customer service. General manager, Tom Tomczyk, has been an integral member of the BC team for the past four years. He’s not only an excellent mechanic, he invests his time making Tempe more bicycle-friendly through education. He feels well informed riders are not only safer riders, but proper knowledge gives them more autonomy, more empowerment, and less stress.
Local bike shops are an essential part of our vibrant bicycle community and we need to support them. To learn more about The Bicycle Cellar check out their website or stop by for a visit.
