O.H.S.O. Eatery + Nanobrewery: 4900 E Indian School Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85018

* I am not a food critic! I am just a hungry biker! I love to ride my bike to food and drink. I try to fairly review things like: bike parking, how welcoming they are to sweaty people with helmet hair, food/drink and price.

O.H.S.O. is one of my favorite places in the world! This is not my first time here, but I am happy to finally highlight them and add them to the list of bicycle friendly venues. Spoiler alert: THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST BICYCLE FRIENDLY LOCATIONS IN THE PHOENIX METRO AREA. But it isn’t just bicycle friendly… this place is just friendly…  to all and everything. Happy, cheery, good-vibey, joyous… it’s a good place.

Come as you are. Doesn’t matter what you are wearing. If you are in from an easy stroll around Arcadia or sweaty from a long ride in the Canal (this location is ON the canal btw)… sit down have a beer and relax!IMG_5237

So this place is bicycle heaven! First thing it’s on the The Arizona Canal so easy piecey to get to by bike. There’s lots and lots of bike parking… which is a good thing because it is always jammed packed full of bikes (I took a picture of only one of the bike parking areas). This place even has a small repair area! There’s a wall on the patio with basic tools, a pump and even a sink with soap to wash your hands and face. They also have bike locks! So if you are riding in the canal without a lock and feel like having a beer, you can borrow one, lock up and relax. The fans are shaped like bikes. It’s just perfect!

As if that wasn’t good enough… the food, beer and drinks are fantastic! This is a brewery so having anything other than beer is kind of blasphemy… however… their mimosas are soooo good!!! They are huge and the oj is not that old nasty concentrate thing… they are just perfect! I always have a mimosa when I go… and get a growler of O.H.S.O. Hoppy IPA 6.8% to go. The Carne Asada Tacos are my go-to dish. Tender beef on honey jalapeño slaw, salsa, guac and corn tortillas… hits the spot every time!

Mimosa, Carne Asada Tacos and O.H.S.O Hoppy IPA 6.8% Growler: $21 (not including taxes, tip and I brought my growler from home so only had to pay for a refill.)

Woooorth it!!!

Overall we say O.H.S.O. Eatery + Nanobrewery is… bicycle friendly!!!
